  • Fremont Street Experience & Old Downtown Vegas

I love dis place.Kewl 90-foot-high canopy over da street with a video, light and music show! For a few minutes every night,hour on da hour, just looks up and enjoy da free, festive and fun Fremont St extravaganza. Da tributes to Queen, Kiss and the Doors were all equally faberoovalous! Da street is full of old school Vegas casinos! A cheapskate gambler's dream...Binion's,Four Queens, Fitzergeralds, Golden Nugget,etc...offer free slot pulls and buffet meal deals...don't forgets to get your free photo wid a million bucks at Binions...dis place is also a good one to buys souveniers to takes home...lots of gift shops here...and of course ALL dat crazy Neon! Dat Fremont Street is a neon museum fulls of old classics like da 50-ft-tall Vegas Vic and his gal, Vicki. oh ya and checks out da sharks at Golden Nugget...teehee I mean like real sharks...ya know da finned kind not da kind wid da bent noses. So makes sure ya goes here. TIP - Just jump on da Deuce bus if ya is staying on da Strip.Gets a daypass...its a great way to travel, slow mind ya but it sure gives your tootsies a much needed rest.Checks out all dem wedding chapels on da way!

  • Fountains of Bellagio

One word - SPECDUCKULAR! You can sees it as many times as you like.Wheee, it be free! It be some kind of wonderfowl. Just saying.Its kewl in da afternoon and wowzers at night. Different songs play for each show in sync with the water & light show. Something like 1,200 fountains erupt in a kind of water ballet dats all set to the tunes...everything from Viva Las Vegas, Celine Dion, Old Blue Eyes and Pavorotti...TIP - makes sure ya see's it both day and night and from different view points, too. Looking on to da Bellagio from the Strip, around the fountain looking onto the Strip with the gorgeous Paris Hotel Eiffel Tower as a backdrop. Oh and if ya times it right go up da tower to da obervation deck for a birds eye view of da fountain show!

  • Bellagio Conservatory & Lobby

Walking through da Bellagio don't forgets to look up when ya hit da lobby! You will see a beautiful,colourful ceiling display by glass artist Dale Chihuly of Washington. It makes ya think you is in a magical ocean and da world is flipped upside down! Venture a little farther and discovers da gorgeous botanical conservatory full of floral displays. Sunshiny bright and cheerful. TIP - A great escape from da Strip and casinos if ya need to chillax a bit.




  • Volcano at Mirage

Ya don't have to go to Iceland to see a volcanic eruption, da gots one on da Strip every night! Its a pawsome spectacle! The volcano is over 50-ft-high plus it has all dem mini fire bursts in da lake in front of the volcano...so expect lots of flames, booms, smoke and lava with lights. KaBoom! and music,too! Tip - Come a bit early and stand at the fence for the best view. Its popular. You can feel dat heat on your beak! Wowzers!!! Should brings some marshmallows!

  • Fall Of Atlantis Fountain Show @ Caesar's Palace

Free show located in da Roman Great Hall in Caesar's Forum Shops near The Cheesecake Factory. Animatronic statues including Venus and Apollo act out da Fall Of Atlantis.Water fountain comes to life with a laser light show with fire, mist and sound. Pretty kewl, fun and campy. Tip - Come early, dare was a large crowd waiting for da show. After da show, mosey around da corner and ta-da you will find a specduckular aquarium fulls of fishies and sting rays. A scubadiver feeds dem a couple times a day and you can watch and learn about da sting rays, etc. Its fintastic!!! *giggles* TIP - Eat at the Cheesecake Factory and enjoy a nice view of da huge 50,000 gallon tank.

  • Sirens of TI - Treasure Island

Ahoy Matey! Fer all me mateys ye gots to see dis! ARGH!!! Dis show used to be more piratey yrs ago but its still fun and ya gets to see a ship sink and hear cannons go boom! Yo Ho Ho...Scantily-clad wenches, da Sirens battle a gang of pirates, all singing and dancing, flipping and swashbuckling up a storm - a fast-paced musical show out front of da Treasure Island hotel every night.So, drop by for a colourful Caribbean adventure popping wid special effects & fireworks. Maybe you will see a Capt. Sparrow wanna-be out front. TIP - If its windy, shows like dis are shut down. So cross your fingers for no wind!


  • Masquerade Show In The Sky @ Rio

An exciting carnival-themed show. Its like Mardi-Gras! WooHoo! Its hard to explain...floats run on a track on da ceiling of da casino. I couldn't figure out why its called Show in the Sky til I seened it! It was so neato! Da floats are full of dancers all dressed up in costumes. Guess what? Da throws beads from da floats just like at Mardi Gras! We caughts some! Purdy purple and green :O) It was thrilling. Yippeeee! Dare is also a stage with performers and a band. I thinks dat its only Thurs to Sunday nights dat da puts dis show on. I wishes I hads my float so I could be in da show too!!! Da only not so gr8 thing is we walked to da Rio from da Strip and it were kinda of a pain wid heavy traffic.The Rio hotel is off da Strip and you gots to cross a highway overpass. TIP - Take the free shuttle to and from the Rio, many hotels on the Strip offer this. We took the shuttle back to Bally's.Another tip, watch the show from one of da top level balconies.We had a terrific view.

 

  • Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo

 

A wildlife oasis with my fave pink birdies, Chilean Flamingo's plus swans, penguins,turtles,goldfish, koi, and DUCKS! Its a lush park area with waterfalls and streams and foliage located near the hotel pool.Dem birdies live on an island here.The Flamingo is packed wid Vegas history of da legendary Bugsy Siegel who ran it back in da day.Dis is old school Vegas, baby.TIP - Grab a take-out lunch and sits outside here and enjoy.

  • Lion Habitat @ MGM

Check out da big cats at da famous MGM Grand Hotel. I don't finks dem is the same lions dat roars at da starts of da movies but maybe he was their Grandpa or sumthing.Last year we wents twice here and see's nada, and dis time we see's lion's twice. So I guess its a gamble. We was a bit worried about dem kitties but den we felt relief cuz we found out dat da don't live there, only 6 hrs at a time, taking turns on different days... da lives on a big ranch outside da Strip :) I gots a good giggle here too. The cats can walk thru a plexiglass tube and you can view them from below. Da size of one paw is hugnormous! WHOA! We saw a Mama Lioness and a cub and also da lazy snoring Papa. TIP - Don't come too late in da day, da be sleeping for sure.ZZZZ....maybe da is on Vegas time! teehee!Hard to say.

 

  • Circus Performers at CircusCircus

Circus Circus is one of da oldest casino's left on da Strip.
Its the largest permanent circus in da world with performances featuring clowns,aerialists, jugglers and kewl trapeze artists! Different acts perform free shows throughout da day...Da gots a midway full of old-time fair games like darts,barrel toss and arcade. Maybe you can wins a teddy bear or stuffie. Its just like a real circus under da big top. Kids of all ages will love it.If ya likes rides, head over to da big Adventuredome. TIP - Its not sophisticated like some other Vegas stuffs but its good old-fashioned fun and ya can't beat dat!
Okidoki I thinks dat be da list of my top ten freebies now....but hey da is in no particular order and dare is even more free stuffs course...plus ALOT of other stuffs ya gots to pay for. LMBO!!!

One year ago we all went to Vegas for da first time! I was da ringbearer at my human's wedding. It was dare First Anniversary so we wents back to celebrate.
