 Oh Bubsy, of course I'm wearing Bearmani! What else should come next to my delicate fur than Bearmani and...*blush* Greg? Being a née Bearmani, I think I have no choice what to wear. Honestly, my brother Snuffy is the most famous fashion creator in the bear fashion's world! Everybeardy wants to wear his clothes. He is sewing his little paws off. He would need a nice SPA rest, but always telling me "no time my sweetie... being too busy for my fur".

Bubbles –
I’m so happy to gets dee honour of interviewing you for da new issue of my fave magazine, Fauxgue. We sure do have oodles of oodles to chat about. Please sit down and let’s get comfy

Oh you're so righty right Bubsy. It's such a pleasure having the opportunity to talk to you.

Bubbles –
Ok let’s see, please tells us a little about yourselves…how did you two meets?

Burnie & Greg-
Sweet bumblebee -I call her so because she loves bumblebees- I think you may start telling the story.
Yes Greggy, so where to begin? Oh yeah I remember very well...

The way I have been brought to life was very unusual, even for a teddy bear. Greg has been a member of the worldwide Fofurree community for some time. He has got friended with many wonderful Fofurrees mostly teddy bears, but a marvelous opossum, a cute pink sheep and a bouncing bunny, too. In 2008 Snuffy, the cousin of Greg’s best bear buddy Jed, has been added, too.Greg-
I was snooping around the website of Snuffy’s servants. Apart from very nice bear stuff and exquisite tents astonishing teddy bears were offered. Some of them have been bear girls, all hand made by Snuffy’s female servant.

It was love at the first sight, when I looked at a polar bear girl sitting on a sofa. Her name was ‘Burnadette’. Stunned like a sleepwalker my paw went to the ‘buy’ button ordering this amazing bear beauty. To feel her more at home I added one of the offered bear sized tents, too.

You’re asking who was going to pay. Oh, I never worried about those unimportant facts. What are credit cards for? Right, for payments. Only a small obstacle remained… I don’t own one. But being a clever bear, and bears ARE always clever, I simply used my human’s (mum’s) card.

*Bubbles give Greg a high five*

By the look to her newest bank statement, well, she was a little astonished… I must admit. She gave me a severe look shaking her head, mumbling ‘this bear is unbelievable!’ I gave back my most innocent and harmless smile…that’s all.

Burnie-
I was built by Snuffy's female servant under his watchful eyes and then sent on my long, long journey across the Atlantic Ocean. It took six dark, lonely and cold weeks in a box for me to reach at Greg’s home just one day in time before Christmas. I became the Christmas “born” bear girl and I am loved since then by the whole family.
Bubbles – Wowzers, you is sure a brave bear to travel all dat way!! Dat a long time!

Greg-
Yes, the parcel was sent by slow mail, which meant 6 weeks journey on a cold container ship across the Atlantic Ocean in November/December 2008. Poor little bear girl! My thoughts went to Burnadette in her cold parcel and I felt quite bad.

But as I held the parcel in my shaking paws...With big excitement I opened the parcel and a little voice asked ‘Greg?’ Oh bear! This was the happiest moment in my beary life! I lent her my helping paw and she appeared before my very eyes: a lovely polar bear beauty.
Since then we are sharing everything together. She is the most intelligent girl you can think of and has wonderful manners and treats me with so much love.

Burnie-
Well, this is how we met. And we are so in love since then! - *sigh* and a deep look into Greg's eyes. 

Bubbles –
Dat is such a romantic story.I thinks Fauxgue readers will remember reading about your fairytale wedding in da last issue. I had da most pawesome time! It was SPECDUCKULAR! You two makes such a super-duper couple. Can ya tells us abits about da wedding and your honeymoon?

B & G-
At Christmas 2009 we got engaged and decided to set the date of our wedding for August 1st 2010.

Burnie -
Yes darling, you surprised me by arranging the most impressive wedding celebration any bear could think of! This has been the "Bearfect Day" in - *both speaking at the same time*: OUR LIVES!!!!

Burnie & Greg -
Well, we danced the night away; none even noticed when we tiptoed away secretly. We just left this sign: “We are up and away on cloud no 9 into 7th Heaven on our Honeymoon”!
Our luggage was already stowed away into the limousine waiting at the backdoor, when Greg & I hopped inside. While we were holding paws -*blushing Burnie*- kissing and cuddling in the back seats, *giggling of both* we didn't noticed our arrival at the Berlin-Tegel Airport.

B-
...and I had no idea where we were heading for! So funny! You really surprised me my darling bear, our destination was the dream of all Honeymooners: Venice!

B & G-
Our stay at a beautiful old Venetian Palace, nowadays a luxury hotel with 12 rooms, was amazing, wonderful, fantastic...and we will keep our lips sealed and silent about the rest! Just try to get your fantasy.

Bubbles –

It was da bestest time Chris. Da also mets your big brother, Marley. I can’ts get over how much you look alike. You and Marley could be twins. WHOA!!! Holy Moly! So, Chris how do you like Berlin?

Chris –
Well, actually I haven't been much around sightseeing already, Bubsy. The nasty wet and cold weather makes my bearents prefer staying warm and comfy inside. I think they would prefer hibernating ... hehehe! But I played daily outside with my bear brothers and my two duckies.
Do you remember the egg Bubsy?

Bubbles –
I SURE Do!! Tell me wad happened. Huh Huh?

You sent it as a Christmas gift to my Mama, and she let me hatching it. We even made a dia show on youtube about the hatching of my little ducky chick! I call it Ducky and the other duck is Quacky. You sent this plushie duck for Mama's bearthday. Actually we are buddies doing everything together.....B-: Stop my dear, I think that's enough talking about your beloved duckies. Sorry Bubsy, but he is always very excited when it comes to his duckies! - *tousles Chris' head*"

Bubbles –
Oh dats ok Burnie. I love taking about duckies too. Quacky is a kewl duck. He lived wid us for abits before he came to be wid your family. He is sure cute. Eh, Chris? We gots lots in common. Chris, I just gots to show da Fauxgue readers dat kewl slideshow of yours….heres da link. It rocks!!!!

Ok, so lil buddio, I hearded dat you travelled all day way from Nova Scotia! Can ya tells us your story? Is dat true?

Chris-
Oh Bubsy, this was that easy. My uncle Snuffy Bearmani made me by his own paws! He is the most talented bear designer in the world! When I was brought into life, I played with my other uncle, Tweak. I admired him from the first moment when he flew into the room, wearing his cape! Wowzer! What a fantastic bear! This must be magic! Snuffy didn't allow him to take me under his cape for a short round around the living room. Darn! "Chrissy!"- Greg's voice comes from the background-
Ok Daddy, sorry. The other day I was wrapped safe and proofed against getting damaged. Then Snuffy's human servant brought me to the Canada Post office and I was sent on my long distance journey to Berlin.
Some strange feelings came over me when the box was shook and thrown. You know, it was dark inside my box and I was wondering during the whole time what's going on.
When my box has been stowed away into a big container, I heard men talking about ready for the long distance flight over to Germany. This was the right moment to remember some good advices Snuffy gave me. One, and I assume the best was: go to sleep and sleep as long as you can! Just think of being hibernating! And it worked!

Bubbles –
Geesh! Hope ya had some snacks!

Chris –
Oh sure, Snuffy sended me wid yummy nibbles and Tweak even gave me some of his chocolate stash. Us bears is always hungry *tummy grumbles*
Bubbles - You musta been askerred travelling all dat way? Was you alone? *chuckles* or did da stork brings ya! *Burnie blushes*

Burnie -
Oh Bubsy! You're confusing Chris. Hmmm, my little one, you came by air mail.
Bubbles - *chuckles* Um ok dat wad we call it. Special Delivery I bets!!!!

Greg-
Heehee, Yes, and your stupid Daddy tried to hide you away from your Mama. You have been meant to be the Christmas surprise for her! I helped you coming out of the parcel...

Chris-
...yeah Daddy and then you kissed and hugged me so much, fed me and gave me some apple juice, as I were hungry and thirsty. Then you brought me to bed.

Greg-
Oh I remember, I had prepared the same basket for your bed, as your Mama has slept in on her arrival.

Burnie -
And when you awoke Chris, what did you ask for first?

Chris-
MAMA!

Burnie –
Is you ok, Bubsy sweetie?

Bubbles –
Huh? Sure, I just gots something in me eye dats all…sniffles.

Burnie -
aaaaaw Bubsy.....but Righty right my boy! You can NEVER hide a baby bear before his Mama! *hehehe....hihihi...hahaha*whole family is laughing*

Bubbles –
DARN TOOTING!!! *Claps wings and sits Chris on his lap*. You getting big!!!
*looks at Burnie* How old is Chris now? He must be a pawfull and gets into trouble sometimes. I seen how he flew into da room! LMBO! Greg, you sure look like a very proud Pawpa doe

Chris –
I love my Pawpa!!! And Mama! *jumps on dem*

Greg and Burnie -
Yes indeed, we are the happiest bearents you can think of! Chris is our joy and pleasure, lighting up every day! He is very clever and wants to learn everything. He even is beginning to read and can already help his Mama typing on pc.
Besides, his biggest dream is learning to fly by a cape. He is daily having a try at it. Unfortunately he fails at every try.

Chris-
Daddy you know that Snuffy told me, I need a Magic Cape and that's not yet my time for getting one. Oh d... sorry Daddy.
Bubbles – Dat ok Chris. I gots me a Magic Bearmani Cape too. *whispers to Chris* It help me fly better and be Superduck. Dat our sekret ok? When you a bits older I am sure Snuffy will makes you a very special one. Your brother Marley tried my cape on and he gots dizzy. He too young!

Bubbles –
It was soooo absolultely faberooovalous meeting you and Greg in Vancouver last fall. Did you enjoy your trip?

Greg & Burnie -
Oh Bubsy...words can never describe how much we enjoyed our trip! Everything was bearfect! So very exciting...the long flight duration of 9 1/2 hrs., the fabulous hotels we stayed in, magnificent nature, lively town, even saw black bear mum with her cub up at Whistler at the Olympic venues...

Burnie -
...but most of all because we met YOU BUBSY, MARLEY & YOUR WONDERFUL HUMANS!

Bubbles –
Wad was da BESTEST part of your trip besides meeting me I means? *chuckles*

Greg and Burnie -
Well, this is hard to say. Bumblebee, what do you say? The harbour cruise, when we entered the ship wearing our pirates outfits?

Bubbles –
Ahoy me mateys! Cap’n Quack Sparrow hare! ARRRRRR!

Burnie-
Ahoy!!! Maybe Greg. My favourite was our shopping tour at Burnaby's Metro Town! Oh bear, we had so much fun together Bubsy! Do you remember that old Chinese man taking me in his hands, looking at me, asking "is this a bear? What are you doing around here?" Then while shaking his head walked away mumbling... yes, and you Bubsy wearing your Count Dracula cape...hihihi...*Greg & Burnie are bursting out laughing and Bubbles joins in* and pretending to bite me in the middle of the shopping mall! V V
Or...oh, we better stop, otherwise we get crazy! But we think EVERYTHING and every minute of our stay was the BEST! Especially when we shared the time with our beloved friends!

Bubbles –
teeheeheee....It was so faberoovalous!!! Everything we did….and sightseeing at Capilano, Cypress Mountain, Granville Island, Aqua Bus on False Creek, Queen Elizabeth Park, da beach and being pirates wid Posy and Aidy, and pub nights! WOOHOOO! So many wonderfowl memories we do share. It was super-duper.

Do ya thinks dat you might ever come back? It was your 2nd trip den to BC so maybe you like to see Toronto or Maritimes?

Greg –
Definitely YES! I could pack my suitcase right away!

Burnie –
But it depends on our humans. Canada is a huge country, and we would like to see the East Coast as well. We ... hmmm... eavesdropped on the hums...
Greg-... and they were talking something about 2012. We wonder if these plans will come true. Keeping our paws crossed!

Bubbles -
If I ever came to spend time in your hometown wad would be do if we only had say one day together? Describe da most pawfect bestest day in da city? All 24 hrs of course. Me no sleeps if I only got one day! LMBO!!!!

Greg –
Yes, Berlin is a very big city and I love my hometown. The little teddy bear on our Berlin flag is the "Berlin Bear". This bear is the crest of Berlin. The name Berlin comes from a bear in German Bär, which became Berlin (Bearlin/Bärlin). The first Sovereign of Berlin has been in the 13th century "Albrecht der Bär" (Albrecht the Bear), and he gave the name to the town.

Bubbles interrupts– KEWL! Not too many bears get to live in a city named after a bear!!!
Well, this is just a very short summary of the Berlin history. And I think it's good to know that Berlin is related with bears!
I think the best way to see as much as possible were to hop on a sightseeing bus and hop off at every stop. Then having brunch at the KaDeWe. This is Germany's most famous department store, the luxury class at its finest. On top of the historic building is a very exquisite self service restaurant. There you can make your choice of numerous cold and warm dishes and desserts endlessly. If you get lucky of managing to get hold of a window place, you can enjoy one of the most spectacular overviews over the city of West Berlin.
Strolling to the Berlin Zoo would be fine after having had brunch. Then another drive around the Eastern city, climbing (by elevator) on the top of the Funkturm and the Fernsehturm, taking a boat for a nice ride along the city channels to the Museumsinsel to have a look inside the World Heritage's museums including the world famous Pergamon Museum.
To end the day I would suggest to enjoy a performance at the Staatsoper unter den Linden, a very famous old Opera building.
Then I would take you home with us for having a farewell drink before heading back to the airport.

Bubbles –
Holy Moly Cheese and Macaroni! Dat would be so Totally Bubbalicious! I think I would be very tired but very happy! WHEEE!
You sure do look beautifowl today, Princess Burnie. You always looks so purdy and gots a great fashionable wardrobe. Who is your fave designer? *WINKS*

Burnie –
On my arrival I was wearing a nice dress, but not made by my brother. So Snuffy wasn’t very satisfied about me, his sister, wearing not one of his creations. He has been a bear clothing model before for some time, and his aims always were to be a bear clothing designer. It came to his mind to spread out his enormous talent by me as his model sister.
*Bubbles wolf whistles*
Heehee, Bubsy. Since then Snuffy has designed many amazing shirts, dresses, trousers and skirts for me. I think I am the most spoiled bear girl in the world. He is incredibly generous to me. And I really LOVE the clothes he is creating just for me!

Being related to Snuffy ‘Bearmani’ himself, makes me sure of his preferential treatment. I am feeling very honored by this privilege of being the first choice for the newest ‘Bearmani’ clothes.

Snuffy Norton Bearmani’s “House of Bearmani” became a shooting star in the bear fashion universe. And it is going to shine even brighter by the time.

Oh, honestly Bubsy, it's too hard to say what's my favourite Bearmani outfit. Burnie always looks breathtaking , terrific ... oh words can't describe her look! *blushing* I must confess... I'm always looking at her with the sight of a bear deeply in love. *blushing of both*

I know you love U2 and Coldplay da bestest and you two has seen dem in concert. U2 is my fave!!!! WooHOOOOOO! My fave U2 songs are One, With or Without You and I Still Haven’t Found Wad I’m Looking For. You LOVE oodles of music. I loves to sing and dance to Beautiful Day. It always cheers me up. Wad songs could ya listen to over and over? Wad other bands/singers do ya just loves?

Burnie -
Well, apart from the above mentioned bands we are much fond of:
The Gaslight Anthem/Arcade Fire/Amy Mac Donald/Bruce Springsteen, but more his older songs until The Seeger Sessions & Snow Patrol.
Greg - But our top favourite is and will always remain: U2!

Bubbles –
Do you collect anything? As you knows I love my pins and postcards! It was so kewl trading pins wid you. I love dat Berlin bear.I is kookoo over pins!

Greg & Burnie-
Oh yes, we know your madness for pins! -*all are giggling*_ And....hmm, do we collect something? We bears love books...yes, I know! The hums are collecting Steiff teddy bears. But...

Chris-
...they are so boring Bubsy! Always sitting in their show case... I mean, what the bear are they sitting there for??? Just for looking beautiful and impressing! Phuh!

B & G-
You're right Chrissy, but they are also very nice and friendly. They have told us very interesting stories from the old days. Some of these bears are over 50 years old, you know!

Bubbles –
Hey Greg you likes to write stories and journals. Dats a great thing.
Wad do you like to write about? Your travels?

Greg -
Yes. At the moment we are working on the translation of our Canadian Travel Diary about our journey around Vancouver, up to Whistler and most important: meeting you and Marley in real life!
I have already published 4 books, all about bears. One is about myself, how I was brought into life and got adopted and my first adventures.
And the next project will be the continuation of the Guardian Angel Bears adventures. Well, Burnie is assisting me and we are a dream team. Paw to paw we stand and one does the things the other can't do.

Bubbles –
Magnificent!!!! Oh Wow, Oh No is da time is flying by way too fast! I could sits and chat wid you all forever!
Hmmm, I wanted to ask you if you have any more plans to travel dis year?

Greg &Burnie -
Well, this year the hums have already made some bookings. First we will go to relax at our favourite SPA. Second we are heading North to the Baltic Sea, to Heringsdorf , the same procedure as every year! *hehehe* And then we will go on a trip around some parts of Germany. Hums like to meet friends at different towns and go sightseeing. At the end of this 3 weeks trip we will go to Hamburg. There we will see our German Easter bunny friends, Walter Hase & his bunny & human family.

Bubbles – Oh I loves Walter!!! He great! Tell him Hello :O) I heard dare some big FurryFest in Hamburg but don’t know when. It soon doe. Many pals be meeting up dare. My friend, Sneefl da sheep and Brummig’s bears live in Hamburg too.You should all meets! I met dem in Las Vegas last year.

Greg – Cool, Bubsy…and for Autumn ... let's get surprised! We will let you know Bubsy. Of course we will send tons of postcards to our worldwide friends! High Five to the Mail Services! *hehehe*

Bubbles –
Oooh surprises. Loverly. You always sends out oodles of postcards. You has sended me lots for my collection. Thank you.
