My pals Greg and Burnie was visiting from Germany so we did some trick-or-treatin' early! Da gaves me a lil kewl pumpkin from Build-a-Bear and a totally spookilicious Halloween treat basket with Purdy's Chocolates! So yummy! Da liked da card I gaves dem with bat and witchy pins dat blink on and off!!! ...and I also gave Burnie dem da same purple sweater as I have! We never gots a chance to wear dem togedder.Teehee! Da little pink and blue bears with us is Lil B and Lil G. Da lives wid me. Greg and Burnie sent them to me from Germany for Christmas. I brought my guitar to play fer us. U2 of course! We sure had fun goofing around and went out fer a yummy dinner and beers at Steamworks pub in Gastown. :O)

HALLOWEEN PARTY NEWS

 

Over on Facebook I was da cohost along with Michael Duck of a huge Halloween Bash called Bubbles Haunted Halloween Happenning and Fluffy World Record event! It was a big success and oodles of fun. We had lots of entries for Best Costume :O) Da Prizes were for Cutest Costume and Creepiest Costume! EEK! I have created a slidshow below of all da Big winners and da certificates I made for dem. It was lots of spookduckular fun but sure kept us busy too. Being a host can be a big job so it was great to share dat honour with Mikey! He is specduckular! WOOHOO!!!!! AS well as a being a record breaking event we also created a poem. Peeps wrotes a four line poem and it was all joined up at da end into one long one. I will post dat below. Also our dear buddy, Blund created an amazing slideshow of da participants photos. You can see dat below too. It has been so much fun...I didn't want it to end....

Our Haunted Halloween Poem

Twas the night before Halloween
when all through the hoose
not a creature was stirring
not even a moose!!!!!!!!

And then it comes…

Roses are Red,
Ogres are Green
I'm here to wish everyone
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Halloween is my favorite night
Dressed as a ghost I'll give you a fright
Under my sheet I laugh and dance
And you can't see I'm wearing NO PANTS!

Its my favourite time, it Halloween!!!
Its time fer all da witches and vampires to be seen
ghoulies and ghosties, fantoms and freaks
Trick and treats is all I seeks

When bats creep and owls sleep,
Beware the sound of stockinged feet,
For comes your way, phantasmically,
a haunted, ghostly SOCK MONKEY!!"

A neon orange mass,
Huddled on the ground.
With darkness, it stretched,
Into a grinning pumpkin

I'm a little pumpkin short and fat
You slice through my head and make it a hat
You scoop out my inside with a big blunt spoon

Darkness rules the night
